These timelines also allow users to see by state when in the process of filing for immigration relief under each of these programs victims gain access to immigration protections (e.g. work authorization, deferred action, approval, lawful permanent residency) and when victims become lawfully present, qualified immigrants, and lawful permanent residents with increasing access to federal and state funded public benefits and programs. These timelines and infographics include the changes made to public benefits laws in H.R.1 that became law in July 2025.
