Description
An insightful peer-to-peer session discussing the 2025 Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) policy regarding immigration enforcement in courthouses. The session highlights the steps courts can take, in advance of enforcement actions, that minimize the impact on court proceedings and promote compliance by ICE with current 2025 ICE policies. These policies state that, through collaborations with court staff, ICE will make substantial efforts to avoid noncriminal courtrooms, avoid unnecessarily alarming the public, and disrupting court operations.
