This presentation held for the Utah Administrative Office of the Courts, discussed the intersections between Utah state court proceedings and immigration law. It aimed to help inform court administrative employees on the importance of fair findings and orders in state cases that are needed for immigrant juvenile cases. It also gave indicators that might suggest that a party or parties are qualified for various forms of relief or benefits like legal immigration status, protection from deportation/low priority removal, and signing of U visa certifications.
