Description

This webinar is designed to enhance participants’ understanding of legal rights, victim service options, and best practices for working with immigrant survivors. It will include a particular focus on the U and T visa programs, Maryland’s certification laws, and the role of advocates and attorneys helping survivors obtain U and T visa certifications. The webinar will highlight best practices for building relationships with law enforcement, courts, and prosecutors that improve victim’s ability to obtain U and T visa certifications and improve access justice and immigration relief for survivors and their children.
