Eligibility to Self-Petition as a Battered or Abused Parent of a U.S. Citizen [pdf]

Policy Memorandum providing guidance to USCIS officers regarding amendments to the Immigration and Nationality Act that extend the ability to self-petition to battered or abused parents of U.S. citizens. Also providing guidance regarding work authorization for approved VAWA self-petitioners.
