This DHS Instruction implements the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Directive 002-02 with respect to the disclosure to Law Enforcement Officials for legitimate Law Enforcement Purposes any information relating to applicants for or beneficiaries of T nonimmigrant status applications (“T visa”), U nonimmigrant status petitions (“U visa”), or applications for immigration relief under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) (“Section 1367 Information”).
