Description
This workshop highlights best practices for collaborating with police officers who are set to testify in criminal cases. Participants learn tips and skill-building exercises to enhance police officers’ effectiveness as witnesses. Prosecutors and lawyers representing victims’ families learn strategies for presenting police officers as witnesses in domestic violence cases. Furthermore, the workshop explores opportunities for obtaining police officer testimony in contested protection orders and custody cases within family court proceedings.
