Description
This interactive workshop uses case studies and allows participants to work through scenarios to identify the best possible immigration relief for survivors while also considering grounds of inadmissibility and access to public benefits for long-term safety and security. Participants learn immigration relief options such as VAWA, U-visa, T-visa, and SIJS, as well as application decision timelines. The workshop also addresses the advantages and disadvantages of each application type for survivors and guide participants in effectively evaluating a survivor’s options when more than one immigration remedy is available.
