Description
This workshop discusses how VAWA confidentiality impacts rulings on discovery motions in family, civil and criminal court cases. Participants learn to identify immigrant survivors eligible for VAWA confidentiality protection and identify steps that can be taken to ensure that immigrant survivors receive the full range of VAWA confidentiality protections, including in family and criminal court discovery.
