Description
This session reviews current crime victim protection policies from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and discusses immigration case strategies that best secure access to work authorization and protection from deportation for immigrant survivors. Expert faculty hold a question and answer session with participants answering questions regarding filing, responding to requests for further evidence, and successful strategies in VAWA self-petition, VAWA cancellation of removal, U visa, T visa, and SIJS cases involving immigrant domestic and sexual violence victims and their children.
