This presentation educated participants on immigration options for immigrant victims of DV and SA, and DHS policies. These policies include the humanitarian release from detention for immigrants with pending victim-based petitions, and the August 2010 policy to not detain and dismiss immigration cases against individuals with valid cases who also filed for immigration relief (inc. VAWA, U, and T visa applicants).
