This training was given at a conference in August 2023. It assess helpfulness and signing U visa certifications consistent with federal law. The presentation details the U visa’s ongoing assistance requirement and special exceptions. Lastly, it demonstrates how to employ the U visa as a tool to build trust with and support immigrant victims improving outcomes of cases and for victims.
