Slides from “U Visa Certification by Judges” presentation, which took place on April 5, 2019 in New Orleans. The presentation helped judges recognize the purpose of the U and T visa programs as well as the judicial role in U and T visa certification. It also instructed judges on how to sign U and T visa certifications, and how to implemet procedures to sign these certifications in civil and criminal cases while staying consistent with federal law.
