This training provided an in-depth look at the legal framework of U & T visas and the responsibilities of certifying officials. This session was held for law enforcement, prosecutors, and system-based victim staff. Participants explored best practices for evaluating certification requests, collaborating with immigration attorneys, and supporting immigrant victims of qualifying crimes and trafficking in order to strengthen overall investigation and secure convictions.
