This NIWAP presentation for Law Enforcement officers and Prosecutors in Maryland discussed how to: use the U Visa certification process as a crime fighting tool, improve outcomes of crime scene investigations using language access tools that incorporate DOJ recommendations, use new tools to enhance offender accountability and victim safety, and obtain the benefits of language access and U visa and T visa certification programs for law enforcement and community safety.
