These slides were used at the NCJFCJ Conference in Ohio on March 18, 2024. Participants were trained on how to better identify eligible youth in the cases judges hear, gain an improved understanding of the federal requirements for SIJ eligibility, understand what constitutes sufficient legal and factual determinations for SIJ classification and learn how to play a leadership role regarding SIJ.
