This presentation aimed to help participants recognize the authority that Congress created for U Visa ceritifcation by judges, determine their role in the U Visa certification process, and how to adhere to the federal provisions related to confidentiality for VAWA related visas. Additionall, the presentation helped participated learn how to assess the ethical conditions related to the U Visa cerification process, and how to identify their appropriate role as a judicial officer.
