This presention discussed different approaches for collaboration among law enforcement and advocates to address language access. It also helped participants better understand different considerations for law enforcement when encountering crime victims with limited English proficiency. Finally, the presentation examined outreach strategies used nationwide that effectively reach immigrant victims, and discussed available resources that support law enforcement and victim service providers to meet language access requirements.
