People v. Flores (N.Y. May 23, 2023)

Last updated:

In the case of People v. Flores, the court overturned criminal convictions in which the prosecutor’s office failed to turn over information to the defendants about the prosecutor’s office participation in certifying a U visa, holding that it was a Brady violation because the jury could have weighed that evidence to determine whether testimony was credible and whether the defendant was guilty (N.Y. May 23, 2023).
